Description of the Bird
Bird was on the board walk eating what I presumed were midges. Silent. Shy, but could be observed at a safe distance..
dull grayish Brown overall, Buffy eyeline, light streaking on breast and flank, yellow under Gail coverts. Bobbed tail continually.
Similar Species Discussion
Identification was immediate. Very distinct from yellow-dumped warblers in area both in appearance and actions.
Previous Experience
I’ve seen this species in numerous states. And I just saw the Boulder Palm Warbler the day before.
