Description of the Bird

Small, light yellow, distintive dark cheek patch, white wing bars, greyish brown cap, white underbelly. Wings shorter than tail, short bill, light grey streakings on sides under wings

Similar Species Discussion

Magnolia Warbler, Yellow Warbler, most distinct to me in the yellow under the tail. olive auriculars-patch and yellow face and breast. Also input of fellow birders

None in late fall such as this. Have identifies Yellow Warbers, Orange-crowned, and Wilson’s. Have seen them up close at bired-bandingt station at Barr Lake
