Description of the Bird

On 15 May, at the park in Estes Park, around 2 pm, Tracy Clark and I encountered two Brown Thrashers, seen briefly together. Both birds were staying low in shrubbery. Both had bright rusty backs, wings, and tail with two white wingbars. Both were heavily streaked dark brown beneath. Both had a grayish face, pale eye, and thickish modestly decurved bill.
