Description of the Bird
Dusky auriculars with dark bill. Very bright red-orange. Approx. 8". Grayish back.
Behaviors: Bird responded to call. Flew in about to about 20 ft. away from us then retreated to Ponderosa Pine where it continued to call.
Call: Slower than Robin with distinct pauses.
Plumage: Adult
