Description of the Bird

The bird was on the nest the entire time I viewed it.  Once it stood up, appeared to turn the eggs (I believe I saw two) and repositioned itself.

Similar Species Discussion

There were several Black-Crowned Night-Herons around for comparison, but they do not have the yellow crown and white facial stripe the Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron was sporting.
