Description of the Bird
The bird was on the nest the entire time I viewed it. Once it stood up, appeared to turn the eggs (I believe I saw two) and repositioned itself.
Similar Species Discussion
There were several Black-Crowned Night-Herons around for comparison, but they do not have the yellow crown and white facial stripe the Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron was sporting.
