Description of the Bird
Two woodpeckers were on the tree at the same time. Photos taken on 3 January 2015 . These birds are now resident as this location, so probably can't be taken off the CBRC review list from Pueblo Mountain Park in Beulah. Other places in Pueblo County, such as Rye, they are still accidental.
I saw and heard the two birds again on the morning of 2 June 2015.

Previous Experience
I've seen Acorn Woodpeckers are this location off and on since summer of 2012. I've also seen this species in Arizona, New Mexico, California, and El Paso, Texas area. I've seen them in Las Animas County, and the Durango area of Colorado as well.
