Description of the Bird
medium size songbird. Dark Blue with a black eye patch that fell down a little towards the cheek. Grey or dull yellow beak.Striking brown patch on the wing.
Behaviors: Sitting on a dried yucca flower signing like crazy with the surrounding meadowlarks.
Call: Singing like crazy
Plumage: not known
Similar Species Discussion
Eliminated Indigo Bunting because the shape of head was different. Also differed was the distinct eye patch and striking brown wing patch that seems unique to the Grosbeak.
